At the close of this year I am republishing this important series which I hope might add to the theological development of those in pastoral ministry or training for it.
Sweeping changes ahead require adjustment of theologies for the force of religion to maintain relevance and to be a force of empowerment in times of change, rather than a chain to past traditions, which like Daniel’s statue with feet of clay, simply cannot survive the coming shaking.
Those who keep postponing the reign of truth and justice on earth to an unachievable utopia, yet claiming Christian allegiance, will now have to contend with the declaration of the 7th trumpet now sounding:
The kingdoms of this world have now become (past perfect tense) the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign for ever.
