Pray for Donald Trump 2

“But where there are prophecies, they will cease”

Since Nov 13th 2020, I’ve largely remained silent on Donald Trump. I had made a pronouncement then, it would be fair to call it a prediction, given very much in prophetic style though I was clear in stating then that I was making no claim of speaking in God’s name (although it would also be fair to say that is exactly what I was doing even without making the claim); and I determined to let that be my final word believing that we all had already given more than enough oxygen to Trump.

I recently came upon a video by Uebert Angel titled ‘Pray for Donald Trump’, which perhaps some of my regular readers may remember is the very same title of an article I had written on Oct 21, 2019. In fact the subject of that article launched the Prophecy Series which I had intentionally written among other things, to promote two facets of development in the prophetic movement of the charismatic church that I thought were exceptionally noteworthy – Forensic and Genealogical prophecy. Both indicate the measurable increase in adeptness in the precise navigation of space-time in the prophetic vision being incubated and dispersed throughout the charismatic movement. This is of enormous promise for a stable future predicated on similarly activated states of consciousness becoming collectively prolific. That vision finds its best expression in Incorruptible.

Praying for governmental leaders is an apostolic obligation laid upon the church by Paul, however the governmental prayer formula delivered to the church by her founder was the subject of Prophecy 3, the sequel article to Pray for Donald Trump.

I’ve written extensively about the phenomenon of prophecy in my blogs, in fact my statistics show that this topic has generated more interest than any other of my articles, interestingly, in particular a brief article on Genealogical Prophecy which has gotten more views from all around the world than any other… countries all over Africa and Asia, Europe, Russia … the article generated interest in countries where English is not spoken. I do very little to promote my blogs. I’ve been motivated by two principles: truth and justice.

On the topic of miracles and prophecies, I’ve tried to choose judiciously whom I highlight, very aware that of the three elements of stories: principles, phenomena and people, the latter generally makes the most impression and often either detracts from or generates more interest in the preceding two (my general intent). Given that my attention to the supernatural is driven by a conviction that although most future projections of the trajectory of human destiny envision the continued, unimpeded, exponential development of human technology as the most impactful catalyst in human culture, I see its displacement as all the sources of knowledge, religion, philosophy, science, etc. begin to point to the creative divine inward, weaning us away from the compulsion to manipulate outward objects. The Hand of God (divine creativity) supercedes the hand of man (human technology) once again in human experience, but this time, man having come to full knowledge of himself is co-partner with the divine in creation, rather than a naked beast cowering outside a delightsome garden.

To the extent that a culture of miracles is now practiced in pockets of religious communities, (and I have spent more time focusing on the Christian religion and its evangelical charismatic subculture precisely because this is the community that nurtured me and with which I am most directly familiar); it has largely operated within and supported the dominant culture. However both capitalism and cousin communism* are predicated on the axiomatic assumption of a scarcity of resources, a concept utterly alien to the creative divine. The problem therefore in describing a credible future which takes us away from all our orienting signposts is formidable. I’ve chosen to highlight therefore incredible stories that will tend to disorient, very aware that :

  1. I will appear to be driven more by the theological than the anthropological, which is an unfortunate but hardly avoidable prevarication, for one must start with the known to approach the unknown.
  2. there is a revolutionary responsibility in demolishing old structures to understand clearly what must remain and be preserved.

Therefore whatever I have written or will write is designed as far as is possible to uphold justice and truth, whatever further associations or assumptions are made, I do not own them.

I have tremendous respect for Uebert Angel’s gift. He may be the most creative and adept of Christian prophets in this generation. Although I did not mention him by name before, he is the only Christian prophet I’ve observed thus far with a 100% public prophecy accuracy record in so far as I am aware. Of the two mentioned in Prophecy 1, the other had since stumbled. And as one of, if not the main forerunner in forensic prophecy, his utterances are usually anything but general. His specificity is often micronic. All other christian prophets I have observed getting caught in some miscalculation, some error, often not of sight ( a thing I focused on in Prophecy 3, recognizing that prophetic vision which traverses timelines also traverses what mathematicians call probability, physicists call parallel universes, and theologians and philosophers call conditionality) but of insight – the wisdom of knowing when or when not, as well as how or how not to speak what one sees.

I’ve been aware of the interest of the evangelical church in Donald Trump long before current conversations on the concern of Christian Nationalism in politics. His use to the cause of the Christian Right was anticipated prophetically through prominent prophetic mouth pieces like Oral roberts and Kim Clement, to name a few, long before Trump’s bid for power in the 2016 election. His capacity to deliver on important objectives for conservatism fuelled this interest for which the church was prepared to make significant moral compromises in order to achieve this perceived greater cultural good.

It was the short sightedness of this approach that impelled my public confrontation and condemnation of the prophetic mainstream that had anchored itself to this bid to ‘turn back the clock’ on social progressivism in a bid for revival under the euphemism, ‘Make America Great Again’. It was not an easy thing, to say the least, to adopt this posture as someone who had such initial stake and saw such promise in the original articulation of the Christian Reconstructionist vision and the Apostolic and Prophetic Restoration it heralded. For the sake of justice and truth however, I pronounced this entire scheme and the spirit behind it anti-christ, its prophets, dogs howling at the wind.

Anticipating the Trump presidency in 2016, Uebert and son headed to Trump Tower to taste the moment. The prophet is always familiar with the corridors of power, but becomes useless when seduced by it. It’s been awesome to see the revival of the prophetic gift, the explosion of prosperity in Africa with the church leading the charge, but if all this only goes to strengthen hyper-capitalism, to prop up the imperial statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, rather than hastening the reign of Christ, it will be of little value.

The church was not just catalyst but womb of Western Imperialism. This tendency to bed with the kings of the earth and become drunk with power, this whorish nature of the christian church is a betrayal of all she represents. I’ve seen enough of the boasting, the pomp, the sycophancy surrounding the pulpit, the stark evidence of compromise (what is this bleating of sheep in my ears?) to indicate that what started as a glorious promise has been allured into a bed of betrayal. Salt preserves fresh meat. It cannot restore a rotting carcass. The question is at what stage does the true church heed the counsel to disengage, to flee to the wilderness for purging? When will her prophets shun the city’s limelight, abandon the palace under divine judgment and head for the refuge of mountains and caves? Let the righteous prince seek them there.

All prophets, kings and judges must remember the source of the scepter till Shiloh comes, Let Ezekiel’s admonition:

I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

serve as grounding for all entrusted with power, lest the wine of Babylon lift up the heart in pride.
