In Diasporation, I managed to link the disparate themes of Metropolitan spaces, Migrant populations, Christian Missions and Mental Health. Less than a week after that article, I recieved news that an old friend, very vibrant and active believer from the Jamaican diasporic community in Toronto had thrown himself in front of a moving train and killed himself. This is the second reported suicide from that fragmented church community, and leads me to carry these reflections further.
