Understandably, the main focus of my recent thoughts on America’s destiny (and whether mentioned or not, the tied destinies of Israel and even ramifications for our own island and regional politic) might seem submerged in the deep philosophical and theological musings that encase them.
But the main focus of the Prophetic Series (as becomes clearer in Prophecy 2 and Prophecy 3) was in fact political – national destiny, that like Hezekiah’s demise, always hangs on the delicate string of human election or choice. (Contrary to popular notion, on earth, Man, not god is in control….by Divine Designation.)
What the Branch Davidian cult, the Trump cult or any other cult of control demonstrates is an unhealthy understanding of the Nature of Being (and the limitations of power) being at odds with the laws of nature, which always introduces instability in the body politic, like a storm that kicks up dust, then is gone, leaving behind not only great destruction but even greater resilience in its wake.
I appreciate how intricate and sublime your thoughts are on these matters of the kingdom/government/politics of God. Make no mistake about it, the “Most high God rules in the kingdom of men, gives it whomever he wills and sets over it the lowest of men” (Daniel 4:17). My view is that “the delicate string of human election or choice” should not affect the accuracy/reliability of a true prophet’s declarations concerning the destiny of nations because “human choice” is a nuanced concept, in that one’s choice can be based on involuntary factors such as ‘God’s mysteriously communicated command’ to a heathen king such as Cyrus (Ezra 1:2) or ‘physical attraction’ as in the case of Samson and the Philistine woman in Timnah (Judges 14:3-4) or King Ahsasuerus and Esther (Esther 2:4-9). Thusly even the ‘outcome of vote’ is subject to the ministry of the true prophet.

The balance between the equal truths of predestination and free will can never be discerned from the space time perspective. And of course, I agree that even man’s sovereign choice, whether individual or collective is accessible to the vision of the Sovereign who inhabits eternity and every possible (or perhaps better said ‘alternative’) time line….and whosoever He should choose to share it with.
The thrust of the matter is to promote, among all human power and divinely gifted, a humility that refrains from either presumption or witchcraft (imposition); and the spirit of love and service for which all power and gifting are properly suited.
Even a true prophet can ‘get it wrong’, or ‘seem’ to get it wrong. The Christian prophet is not concerned with accuracy of particular outcome, (individual consequence) but accuracy of the expression of Divine Intent – Justice and Truth, the fabric of all choice and consequence.

Okay, promoting love and service among custodians of political power and prophetic gifts in the kind of humility that refrain from presumption and manipulation, who can argue with that?
Good stuff!
