Prophetic premises and protocols

This is definitely not a theological treatise. The only reason prophecy is thought of as a religious subject is because of a stultefied science, which this piece does not attempt to directly challenge, only ignore.

The misguided notion that associates religion with sacred texts on the works of God and science with man-made theories about the observable universe will be definitely assaulted by the following description of a ‘spiritual’ gift in fairly clinical terms.

The pharisaic fallacy that quoting chapter and verse demonstrates ‘knowledge of God’ and the equal fallacy that those who read the handiwork of God through the study of nature are any less awe struck or enlightened by the divine potential and wisdom therein perceived than the religionist or ritualist arriving at similar conclusions through metaphor or practice will also be frontally attacked.

Decidedly, those who profane the Name of Jesus, who, according to the same scriptures touted by them, has filled up ‘all things with Himself’, are owed no apology for its absence, when His Divine Nature as Restorer / Redeemer is honored.

But there may be yet many people who have little or no experience of the power or utility of prophetic abilities, and deserve to be made aware regardless of religious, theological or denominational alignments … or non-alignments. We expect many to have direct experience, in the days ahead, of the claims made in the Prophecy series, the last two in the series (4 & 5 ) are examples of the scope and capacity of these abilities: forensic and genealogical prophecy – the seer in ‘zoom mode’ exploring minutiae of space / time.

Most prophets are seers. I.E. their skillset is to be able to drift in and out of sub-alpha consciousness, which gives the observer the capacity to simultaneously receive visual data from the sensual environment as well as hypnogogic images and scenes from inner dimensions. Initially, while learning to navigate, seers will be guided by a persona from the inner dimension (‘spirit’ guidance, identified by the nomenclature of practitioner’s belief system: an ‘angel’, the ‘Holy Spirit’, the ‘Lord’, etc) and / or mentored by a senior adept. In the developmental stages of the gift the inner dimensional data (which can be attenuated/calibrated to explore whatever relevant spectra of space or time) will be triggered from within … an inner impulse or nudge; mature prophets however can learn to activate the gift with their own volition.

All persons have the gift in latency in that every person experiences hypnogogia daily (or at least nightly) during REM sleep. The prophetic skill involves not only entering this state of consciousness naturally, but also doing so with organizational purpose … the creative intent. Here is where descent into religious metaphor might be helpful. It has always been the Spirit’s work to organize primordial matter, and although ‘spirit’ (Greek: ‘psyche’) has developed somewhat of a spooky reputation, it has always been a metaphor for consciousness itself: the self awareness or I am-ness of all being(s).

Like every other human capacity, there are creative and potentially very destructive possibilities involved in its engagement, hence the three recommended protocols (based on the 3 keys of consciousness mentioned in Prophecy 3 we suggest to all, even if the experience is still extraneous or bizarre to you. That may soon change.

  1. Relationship – Whatever collective you are a part of, the person whose prophetic advice you are evaluating should be in favourable relationship with the authority figures of your group.
  2. The person’s prophetic Reputation should be evaluated and endorsed by the same group leaders. This is an accuracy rating not a character rating which is covered under protocol 1. Leadership sets the standards of excellence (or not) for the group.
  3. Repercussion, Careful consideration should be made on how coercive rather than enabling the prophetic information presented seems, and whether the true beneficiary from the information is its recipient rather than its giver or his/her allies.

If these protections are in place, and one can acknowledge their need for divine guidance, there is no need to pretend that prophets and prophecy are not one of the many ways that He who is the Way expresses and has always expressed Himself. The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ (Utterance of the Divinely Inspired, Creative Word)
