A shift of perspective-Gates again

It is always interesting to compare the human and divine perspective. We have always pictured hell’s gates as open wide to receive the hosts of sinners and unbelievers captured by demon spirits scattered throughout the earth. But in scripture, it is heaven’s gates that are open wide and never shut, needing no defense. All who will may enter. Whereas it is hell’s gates that are shut and barred in a vain attempt to protect it from the onslaught of heaven’s armies. Heaven’s command to all believers is ‘Go!’; but the invitation to all transgressors is ‘Come!’

The open welcome belongs to heaven. ‘Access denied’ is the posture of hell – a sign the righteous never either understand, nor obey, whose sole intent is to penetrate and plunder, leaving it bare, empty, and utterly depopulated.

What would that Christianity look like that is lived in the light of the divine vision?

I share a series of interviews with my  friend, Dr Moshe Halal Gurion. May you be challenged.
