“… I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
It is good to repeat certain truths over and over again, because this is how the lie prevails – by constant repetition. As every good hypnotist knows and certain politicians, if you keep repeating a narrative, it becomes operational. This almost entirely explains the Trump phenomenon.
So the truth that bears repetition is, that from Jesus’ perspective, that invincible Joel 2:11 terrorist army he established with his lifeblood, called by him ‘My Church’, is absolutely unstoppable. As I’ve explained before, hell’s gates are its defense system, (have you ever seen gates make a single offensive?) built to keep out these holy attackers from its cities and from plundering its treasures. They wont prevail, remain intact or maintain integrity. This overcoming army will smash through those gates of iron every time, plunder her cities, capture her treasures and make captives of her citizens in emulation of he who first descended into her nether regions, leading captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.
Who are these gifts given unto men, but prisoners of warfare. Like the apostle Paul, they are former servants of Satan knocked off of their high horse and made slaves of the Sovereign Lord out of willing and grateful hearts for so precious a salvation. Those whose wimpish and diminutive vision of the Great God and his select appointees, who fear ‘persecution’ and apparently are so much more impressed by an allegedly powerful Satan than a veritable Almighty God, never seem to grasp that in the eyes of Jesus, He and His Holy army are the only aggressors worthy of account. An awesome God. A great and terrible army.
It is hell that has been constantly under massive attack since Calvary and unfortunately has not been appointed any victories of note. The church will batter her gates down and savage her cities with impunity until ‘every foe is vanquished and Christ is Lord indeed’ including that last enemy Paul identified, though that makes mockery of all that sweet-bye-and-bye nonsense held for generations. It is hell’s gates that will not prevail – because her attackers, the Church of Jesus Christ will never let up. Such is the declaration of Jesus Christ.
I laughed at Google when she sought to tear down the legacy of TB Joshua (see article below) and this latest three – volume BBC hatchet job hardly elicits more than a chuckle. And the reason that this article will not be dedicated to TB’s defense is simple. None such is necessary. I have understood for some time the massive threat to the worldview and interests of the stakeholders of the BBC and other main media houses which hold ministries the likes of TB Joshua in great contempt. I understand also why Billy Graham would be a darling to the western press and why the African cult of Jesus would be seen as a tremendous threat.
The answer is simple in Black and white. Christianity has been the tool of western imperial domination and it is meet that it also be the sword of its demise. But these are two very different versions of Christianity and two very different images of the Christ of God. And again the explanation is plain and simple. Black and white. Nothing more needs be said.
Those interested in the truth can read in detail the articles I have written on TB Joshua’s legacy. If one has more inclination to watch a three hour expose attempting to shred the power of one man’s influence than to investigate the testimonies of African leaders of government, not to mention the soul stirring testimonies of all those great and small whose lives and experiences bespeak the power of the gospel to shred iron chains and produce liberty, healing, prosperity and bring the dead back to life, there must be a reason for that inclination. I will not seek to disturb it.
But as I have said before, anyone with the proclaimed power of the African prophets who quite literally believe Jesus’ commandment to go out into the world, heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons, and whose ministries demonstrate, with undeniable credibility to eyewitnesses, its power to do just that, is a clear threat to the entire edifice of Western epistemology and the thought architecture of the leaders of academy who fancy themselves gatekeepers of world culture, and who deny the very possibility of these experiences. (So much for their gates.)

I invite anyone aware of the BBC’s pitiful attempt at re-establishing its fallen bastions of authority to read the following listed articles and watch the videos. The truth speaks in tones that the true will recognize. Mockers, like Saul are on their way to their own Damascus.
